North Los Angeles County Regional Center

State funded care through NLACRC, often at no cost to your family

Woodland Hills and the San Fernando Valley are served by the North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC). Under California's Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act, eligible children and adults with developmental disabilities have a right to services coordinated and funded through their Regional Center, typically at no out of pocket cost to families.

NLACRC supports consumers and families at every life stage, including:

  • Early Start: infants & toddlers (birth to age 3)
  • School Age: children & youth in school
  • Transition: teens & young adults moving toward independence
  • Adults: ongoing support, employment & community living
